Proven Technology. Modern tools have enabled Liber8Now to deliver on the promise of reliable gunshot detection originally discovered as a byproduct of solutions created for the military, earthquake detection, and mining segments. Of the 4 detection options available, Liber8Now embraced and optimized concussive shockwave and infrared technologies. We added impact detection to defend against high school student pranksters, while deeming acoustic and SONAR tech as less desirable. Our integrated multi-sensor approach provides industry-leading performance through strict adherence to our comprehensive testing methodologies.

Faster is Better. Liber8Now utilizes the fastest detection sensors available today in the GSR10. Our ability to detect gunshots and reset sensors is unsurpassed. Cheaper shockwave, infrared, and impact sensors are available, but when every fraction of a second is critical, performance is more important than cost. Our developers continue to evaluate and test new technologies and components as they become available, for potential inclusion in upcoming product releases.

Bulletproof for Mission Critical Deployments. The GSR10 is the “tip of the spear” as an essential mission critical component of a layered security solution. Our edge computing GSR10 eliminates single points of failure when deployed with Form C Dry Contact infrastructure by not requiring either cloud-based internet or local network connectivity. Although we do offer the option of POE+ ethernet infrastructure, Form C Dry Contact deployments provide additional assurances that the GSR10 will be available when it is needed most.

Privacy Matters. Liber8Now believes privacy is as important as security. We do not use microphones or cameras in our GSR10 to ensure we do not inadvertently capture images of children or private conversations. Bad actors are unfortunately a reality in today’s world, so even though a camera or microphone is intended to be used for good, it is possible for any camera or microphone to be hijacked for nefarious purposes. The GSR10 is not able to be used by the bad guys against the good guys.

Simple Installation. Installing the GSR10 takes a matter of minutes. Infrastructure side wiring utilizes press-in style of connectors while device side utilizes standard positive click connectors designed for fast, easy deployment. Mounting brackets utilize standard butterfly fasteners through ceiling tiles or can be directly attached to standard junction boxes. Device to mounting bracket installation is a simple press, twist and lock.
